Lisbon Humberto Delgado International Airport (IATA Code: LIS) lies 7 kilometres / 4 miles from Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal.

Situated on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, Lisbon is the second oldest European and mainland Europe’s westernmost capital city.  The city is rich in historical boulevards and monuments, with the Alfama, the oldest district of Lisbon, overlooked by the Moorish São Jorge Castle. Occupying a commanding hilltop position, the castle offers the best views of the of Lisbon and Tagus River.

Built after the second world war as a memorial of thanksgiving for Portugal’s being spared the horrors and destruction of the war, the Christ the King monument with its open arms keeps a thankful and watchful eye over the whole city.

One of the best ways to see the city is by tram. Trams have been used in Lisbon since the 1800`s, today the distinctive traditional yellow trams are an icon of modern Lisbon. They are well suited to traverse the narrow streets and steep hills of the city centre.

Arrival Meet And Assist Service With Fast Track

A Fastrack VIP greeter will welcome guests at the arrivals gate* with a personalised signboard.

* Please note at present guests who arrive from a Non Schengen country, including the UK, are required to pass through the Immigration check point before the greeter can meet them. This is due to local police restrictions which do not currently permit greeters to attend the arrivals gate.

As soon as guests arrive, the greeter will assist guests to pass as quickly as possible through all immigration* and security formalities, using priority channels where available.

Guests are accompanied to baggage reclaim before being escorted to the customs checkpoint.

It is highly recommended to book a baggage porter as part of the service as Fastrack VIP greeters are unable to handle baggage on behalf of guests.

After exiting customs, guests are connected with their onwards mode of transportation.

Good to know

  • If the aircraft is parked on a remote position and guests are coached from the aircraft to the terminal building, guests will be met at the coach drop off point or the entrance to immigration.
  • Buggies are not available at this location.
  • Please advise any ground transportation details at the time of reservation.
  • Baggage assistance is not provided unless a porter service has been booked as an additional service.
  • Guests may need to handle their own baggage.
  • Baggage assistance can be arranged for an additional charge.
  • The greeter may only accompany the client through security, immigration, and customs channels where this is permitted by the local authorities.
  • Guests must select the correct Customs channel applicable to their situation.
  • The greeter will endeavour to expedite guests where possible. We cannot guarantee that this option will always be available.
  • The airports Immigration Customs and Security Control Departments have the final decision on whether to grant priority or fast track clearance to guests

Departure Meet And Assist Service With Fast Track

A Fastrack VIP representative will contact the lead guest (or driver if advised) in advance of their arrival at the airport to confirm the meeting time and location.

Guests will receive a personal welcome from their Fastrack VIP greeter at the designated meeting point, with a name sign for easy identification.

The meeting point may be at the kerbside drop off point, or within the terminal building.

It is highly recommended to book a baggage porter as the greeter is unable to handle baggage on behalf of guests.

Guests will receive assistance with check in and baggage formalities before swiftly moving onward through the security check point using the priority lane where available, and on to immigration.

After guests clear security the greeter will help guests make the most of their time spent in the departure lounge, whether it be dining, shopping, or relaxing in one of the executive lounges (whereby the airline ticket entitles lounge access, or if access been booked as an additional service).

Leaving the guests to relax, the greeter will return to a prearranged meeting point to escort guests to the gate in time for departure.

  • Greeters will escort guests to the access points and rendezvous again with them after they have cleared the check point.
  • The greeter will endeavour to expedite guests where possible. We cannot guarantee that this option will always be available.
